While the design of the stairs was in the approved blueprints, it was not what was originally discussed, poorly called out in the blueprints and the change never communicated outright by the sales manager. Not only was the design a safety hazard for my small children and dogs, what had been executed to that point was off centered. While the company did correct the issue and ultimately executed to our original expectations, it was not without headache and a lot of back and forth discussions. I would advise all considering customers, to carefully review all designs for consistency and ask questions beyond annoyance.

The windows also hold in heat when closed so you can use the room in early spring and fall with a small heater. I purchased the matching door with the windows.
